Song No. 23

 1  Musidzana, tshinanyana!
Dance a little, my little girl!
 2  Musidzana, tshi a tambula.
   It is painful, my girl.
 Chorus: avhula, musidzana!
   Take a lover, my girls!

This teaches the novice that only a girl (musidzana) may have lovers. After marriage, it is forbidden to -davhula.

In the dance, each girl supports her body on her right elbow and her feet, and holds her left hand to her head. Then, with the left elbow as centre of a circle, she moves round clockwise by stepping quickly with her feet, left-right-left-right-left etc.
