Pukhto Love Song
This song is sung by Shamso Rehman. He is from the Abbottabad/Manshera region. He has recently settled in Bhalot with his sister's husband's family.
Pukhto:

tao sha ra tao sha ta vega
dAmé fal dé khousa lo dé
shrung shrung shrung

nA'cho gao na'cho gao
yé mé pil kushion ga'hei

English:

(the name of a dance=nA'cho gao)
nA'cho gao nA'cho gao
this will make [pil] very happy
chained, chained, chained
chained, this is his cow's string of bells
Note. This makes absolutely no sense to me at the moment. I do not pretend that any of these translations are accurate but a bad translation is more fun that nothing. Hopefully through the year the process of getting an accurate translation from a language I don't know at all to a language I have a basic proficiency in to a language I know very well will get better.
One comment on the word 'g'hungro'-- in my Vanguard Punjabi dictionary I found this word as 'g'hungral'. This may be an example (admittedly trivial) of one of the differences between central Punjabi and the Punjabi spoken in the Pot'howar area.
