Debt
6/11 Official letter to Muhtar, saying that i(0462 Ali Canveren) (72{TL}), i(Abdurrahman Talasl) (53), and one other (53TL) must pay these debts to the Ziraat
Bankasi. Without apparently much question, i(0185 Ali Osman) came and wrote a letter on behalf of the Muhtar, saying that as the crop had been small, he
certified that they should be allowed to pay after next harman. Apparently i(0185 A.O) alone can write such a letter, though I suspect i(0462 Ali Canveren)
could too -

7/11 i(0212 Melik S). - loans in town, 5% to 10% per month. (Faiz=interest) (sened=documentary proof, voucher, receipt). Many go to them - the interest does
not apparently increase with time, a friendly chap may only charge 5% and give time to pay. i(0212 Melik)'s son is going to marry, para yetmez.
