Attitude of Women to Urbanisation and Westernisation
Kanber women - {our host's} 'ev' - quite knowledgeable on subject of Kayseri. All had been there more than once - one had lived there for 2 yrs. with her son,
working in a garden, and then returned to Kanber. The young wife of {host}'s brother said she very much liked the city (husband keeps hotel there) - she wld.
like to stay in Kayseri, imi - but not during the summer when Kanber is much better.
I noticed that in 3 different cases of illness mentioned to me, - all women or girls - all had gone or been taken to the Dr. in either Kayseri or Bnyan without
much delay.
