i(1541 Mustafa Hoca, Gezeci) Thinks the young, Ky Enstits {Village Institute, College for Village Teachers} trained, village school teachers can have some
effect in these villages if they're the right sort. Question of their attitudes. If they are genuinely fond of their villagers, and in sympathy with them, they
will make their influence felt and the villagers will gradually turn to them for advice. If they are not in sympathy with their village - dislike living there,
and so on, then they will not be able to make any impression. He has 30 teachers under him: goes round watching them teach, giving specimen lessons, backing
them up in any major issues that may arise in their villages. Takes out summons against parents who refuse to let girls attend school, after their daughters
have come within school age.
