i(Ahmet Ylmaz) { age 13} showed me his school text book - 3rd. year class - from which he reads. A dull, badly printed book - full of cheap propaganda and
nationalistic slogans. Bad maps of Turkey, old Ottoman Empire, Turkish influence, "lands from which we Turks came", etc. No map of whole world and no map
showing Western Europe or the Americas. Boosts up achievements of Republic also lot of stuff about all the good things present admin. is doing - e.g. hkmet Dr.
- sees every one free - anyone can go to him - no-one need be ill without medical help - if people are very sick they will be looked after free in hospital -
and the hospital will never close its doors to those who are sick and need help.
i(6587) roared with laughter when I read this out - i(Ahmet Yilmaz) saying it wasn't true - the hkmet Dr. never came out to Elba, and he didn't look at you
unless you had money.
