i(1021 mustafa)'s house:- door from havlu leads into main 'ev' with tandr. This v. dark, scruffy - no sign of any village luxuries. Usual cooking implements
and stores of grain. Wife says another 'ev' beyond - they looked more like stables and stores to me - even darker than the first, and quite bare of any kilims,
etc. Steps from havlu lead up into what they call the "kadn odas" {women's room} {c:a}- actually built for married son and gelin, but as the son is working
away the gelin and girls of household are all sleeping there. Sedir round 3 sides, 2 windows, stove. Approached by small corridor leading fr. outer door. A
light and airy room. At other side of this building, steps lead up into the misafr odas, where i(1021) presides. Sedir along 3 sides, with rich coverings -
rugs, kilims, namazlar, and covered yastk. Stove at one end, and drain for water. Windows on 2 sides.
k<house, layout, furnishings>

{c:a the word oda means room; but normally contrasted with ev, where cooking was done. in my male version, 'oda' normally means guest room, kept for male
use. But obviously language is flexible}
