i(Melahat zkul), gelin to i(Hseyn zkul), daughter of i(Ahmet Elba), said she went to school and passed 5th. class. Approves of being able to read nad write,
"If I cld. read more, I shld. know more. You are ok okumu, bilgin ok." {very well read, your knowledge much}
Her younger sister, Fatime, (2 yrs. younger) never went to school. Neither could or wld. give any reason why older girl went and younger sister didn't.
