i(Keziban Aslanba), i(Hayriye Akkoyun), i(Intifat Akgnes), and i(erife Akgnes) all say they {as} girls go to school and are in 3rd. class. Hayriye and Intifat
only 8, imi. Certainly very small. All seem to be quite keen on going to school, but Keziban said she was the only one of 5 daughters to have gone to school,
and her father said he wld. not send the younger ones. Hayriye saying that it was good to learn to read.
