i(Emin Gurbuz)'s house - women making a hasr {rush mat}. Reeds gathered from river. Rahime was making a large ball of reed rope, by plaiting strands of firm
reeds together. This plaited rope was strung up on loom to make the warp - (going from top to bottom). The 2 gelins and daughter of house were weaving in the
weft with unplaited reeds, which they wound in and out of the fixed plaits and pulled down tightly to make a firm mesh.
