Fatime i(Tevfik Aydin)'s wife), i(Yure Cokun), and i(Ikbal Grbz) (retmen's wife) visited me together. They are close neighbours, and when they first came
they said there was no relationship - 'yalnz komuluk'. Later there transpired to be akrabalk {kinship} between Fatime and Ikbal, but not between Fatime and
Yure. These last 2 live close together and they say they are always in and out of each other's houses.
Later that day: Yure's daughter, Cehriye, (aged about 14) came in when I was sitting at kbal's and helped her.
Cehriye and Fatime's small daughter together brought tezek and yakacak (kindling), which they said their mothers had collected together.
