Households
They said: households divide. Young move out quickly.
[Yet many households have two married in them]
They no longer have large families.
Household size - 4 people or so. Very hard to believe. Land is divided rigorously and equally among heirs.
Very hard to get clear how they avoid "fragmentation". Recent increases in agric. production and income seem to be balancing rise in population. Some migration must be going on - e.g. 1 Hakim, 1 …gretmen.
