Note:

i(1064 Hs.) is ks {gl : "not speaking"} with i(1062 Mustafa). i(1061 Recep) and i(1064 Hs.) are quite separate and i(1064 Hs.) does not currently work i(1061
Recep's) land. He has a tractor.

Guess: They bought tractor together to work joint land and then quarrelled??
Anyway, they said - 200 dec. icar {gl : lease} and yarclk {gl : sharecropping}. Over the past 3 years, they had to pay 3 inik per dec. and to do this they
sold sheep.
Almost certainly, i(1064 Hs.) had had more sheep. i(Fatma) said they sold sheep to pay "icar". Yarclk scarcely covers expenses, but reduces risk even for
tractor owners.
N.B. then
1. A tractor owner with no land
2. A sheep/land man is very badly hit by crop failure.
3. Switch to cost cutting and risk cutting eats into the benefits of this bumper crop.
Not enough "gbre" {gl : manure}. "Yarclk" cuts profits in good years as well as reducing losses in bad years.

i(1064 Hs.) off to pasture sheep. Son frightened of Muhtar, because sheep get into fields and cause "ceza" {gl : punishment} and rows.
