A long pleasant evening visit.
As usual, with i(Mehmet) present, a lot of the conversation was too fast for me to follow.
Lots was said and observed.
1. We do really seem welcome.
2. i(Emine) continues with Kunfr @ 2,000 TL a week. A few tips for herself.
3. i(0224 Aht.) - no plans to go to Saudi Arabia again, and cannot go while i(0357 Ertgrul) is asker.

I said what does it cost to keep all the family - food, bills, clothes.
i(0224 Aht.) said TL100,000. I asked i(5374 Zeliha) - "fazla" ancak mutfak maraflar.{?}
Then i(0224 Aht.) said (see above) they had earned 1/2 m. in 2 months. 50,000TL - Kurban and 50,000TL in something else - [so actually about 200,000TL a
month for 11 people.]
5. Shops - he will begin. He can svac/fayans himself. Neighbours help with other jobs. He has a 'mhendis' {gl : engineer}. He has enough money to begin - c.
1m.TL capital available. [Must be more.]
5. They are in fact quite well off. i(5374 Zeliha) complained to i( Meht.) (see M.A.'s notes) about financial pressure - costs TL50,000 to send i(5380
Perihan) to village, so she did not go for bayram. But no real shortage.
6. i(5380 Perihan) says she misses the village. She was looking happy and confident and seemed very much at home. But she said i(E.) refused to take her to
Sak. for Bayram, which made her cross. She told us both. No mention of pregnancy.
7. i(0357 Ertgrul) works with i(0224 Aht.), with i(0214 Hamza), and on his own. Seemed confident.

i(Orhan) went to visit his Father's brother's daughter to see her daughter, i(Sevinuler). He asked for her babasi {gl : term for father whose authority not
respected}, returned from Saudi Arabia. Mother said "Take her and go and I'll deal with her
Father."
So it was arranged. Dn was arranged in Adana.
Father barm {gl : reconciled} and normal arrangements made retrospectively. Objections on grounds of age. See i(Meht. Arilan) ? notes.
8. i(Meht. A.) reminded me that i(0217 Enver) (who had been in prison) helped i(0224 Aht.) to
get rid of his tenant, and is committed to him. i(5374 Zeliha) "Kapu gok".{?}
