A VERY interesting visit. He was very frank - drinks all the time, his reputation as an alcoholic makes work hard to find in Adana. Had a marvellous job imi
in Iskanderun - but it fell through [His reputation reached them?].
1.Said in front of his wife (0210 Hakki's) daughter) that marrying her was a terrible mistake
2. Said his F. and M. constantly criticised him and never gave him love and support and help.
3. F. prevented him from studying at Im. Hat. okulli in Kayseri, though he had got himself in.
4. House was built with his money, but "tapu ........ yazdirdi"{?}. i(0216 H. Aht.) gave i(Nurettin) the tapu {gl : title deed} of i(Nur.'s) house and so
after an argument, he agreed to do likewise for i(0217 Enver). But relations are very bad.
5. 2 law suits. Won a law suit about a "kahve" {gl : coffee shop} and got some money. Now house purchaser owes him 8m. TL - if he wins he can survive

6. Works and earns. Claimed to be an excellent usta. Wants to go Saudi Arabia - can earn well there and can stop drinking there. Has a chance to go and
when mahkeme {gl : court case} over he will go.
7. House 350,000TL p.a. Largish - 3 large rooms and kitchen. Scruffy. Been there only two or three weeks.

Even his wife does not help.
9. Terrible fate for to be landed with such a man. He is charming, open, intelligent, but plainly a failure - lots of beginnings; alcohol.
10. Described a major quarrel - Aksoys wanted to take the mill from i(0210 Hakki) by force. He was in village and sided with i(0210 Hakki). They threatened
him. Later they attacked him in a cafe in Adana. He knifed two of them and hit one with a chair. He was hurt and two went to hospital.
"4 kii vurdum"{?} Never been in prison except for a very short period.
