i(1054 Sl. Akyrek). Economis.

Conversation about his economy. Last Thursday he stressed the potential division of his land.
This time he made point :
1. The number of heirs in 2 generations. If Father's land is divided, virtually nothing each.
2. He is 36, no skill except farming. Without land, what does he do?
3. He claims carpets apart and i(1037 Abdi) apart, he has no "yan geliri". So far i(1037 Abdi) has contributed very little and is now off to asker. His
brother gives nothing - he gives them all cheese, un, bulgar "......................".
I said - if you costed seriously and included your time, you make a loss. So you owe them all nothing.
He did not react to the last point but said he does not calculate costs because he earns TL100 a day and he does not want proof - he'd give up.
Details
{Cows}
4 cows eat one bag of yem a day @ TL4,500. So a cow costs TL1,500 in feed and produces 10 kg. of milk @ 100 TL = TL1,000.
So cows make a net loss according to him.
[Why then does a good cow fetch TL500,000?]
{Sheep} Income
Wool 1,500TL x 2.5kg = 4,000
3 ay init @ 200 TL x 45 kg = 9,000
Lamb say 20,000
33,000

Cost obanlk 2,000
5,000 TL yem for koyin okza 10,000
= 12,000
So 1 sheep makes TL20,000 a year. But some die, some do not lamb. Say average currently TL17,000 p.a.
60 sheep - TL1,000,000 p.a. net.
